In short: I am a creative visual artist with skills in graphic design, video editing and illustration, based in the centre of Exeter, Devon. Hard-working and eager to take on any task at hand, I am a designer that you want on your team or to hire for freelance work!
I love visiting new and historical places, learning stories about anything and everything. Most recently, in September 2020, when we were all allowed out of our quarantines, I took a trip with my partner to Windsor and virtually visited the Queen... I'm just kidding she was a no show! But visiting such a historic place and wonderful city was an amazing experience.
In long: Born in a small town in North Devon, Great Torrington, creativity is something that has always come naturally to me and my whole family. Going through the years at school, Art and Design was the subject that I was always drawn to and felt that was something I wanted to pursue, even at a young age, but there was a part of the more 'Fine Art' lessons that did not feel right to me. This was when I was introduced to Design and Technology classes where Graphic Design was covered. It was then, back in 2012 that I first opened up Adobe Photoshop and discovered the exciting lengths you could go to when creating absolutely anything.
Moving onto college, I continued studying Graphic Design at A Level and then onto a Foundation Diploma where I started to find my own style of design, with sans serif typefaces and minimalistic styles but also including bright and bold colours and occasional patterns. Sudden flows of random-ness which resonates with my personality as well as my creative style!
I am currently navigating my way through post-graduation life as a Graphic Designer and finding my feet in this world of creatives, picking up freelance jobs where I can help people with their own problems that need digitally designed solutions, as well as designing for myself to make me happy.
