I am so motivated by music. New music. Old music. Anything that grabs my attention and makes me feel something. Australian group, 5 Seconds of Summer recently released a new song titled 'Take My Hand'. As a fan of the group, I excitedly listened to the song when it was released but was greeted with a tone that I was completely not expecting. The music was soft with powerful words and the production levels were so in-depth I had to listen a few times to fully grasp what I was hearing. This was a song that I fell in love with when I heard it and it made me want to be creative and just make something that I felt related to the song.
I created this vinyl record design as how I felt the song should be promoted to the world. The delicate pink and blue tones mixed in with harsh reds and bolder blues, mixed together in this 'water-type' way that I felt reflected the vibe of the song and the lyrics.
