This exciting new series focuses on a variety of educational information on what is in the food we eat. It ranges from the calorie, fat, saturate, sugar, salt, carb and protein content in some of the most eaten foods in the UK, to a range of foods that are low fat, high protein and best for a balanced vegan diet. This series was a great one to get stuck in to as it allowed me to work further on my vector graphics and improve my skills through creating all of these food illustrations from scratch.
I have always been drawn to vector graphics and have wanted to focus my skills on these further, so being given the chance to work on these with AnatomyStuff was extremely exciting. These are some of my favourite illustrations that I created from each poster and I think it's clear to see a distinct improvement from my previous vector illustrations in the PSHE and What's in your Drink series. Choosing colours to best represent these foods was interesting as I researched into photography of each food to make sure the light hit the food at the right point and I was able to capture the perfect colour for each food item.
